Notable prior roles, projects & experience
Jeff was an Independent Board Member of Hammersmith & Fulham Homes, an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) managing LBH&F council housing. He retired in July 2009 after 3 years service.
He was Director of HACAS Group PLC and then Tribal Consulting (1984-2006), when the successful social housing sector consultancy became a major subsidiary within Tribal Group in 2003. Jeff led many teams delivering large investment, service improvement and other consultancy projects. His work involved national policy development and research particularly on strategic issues, new initiatives, regeneration, and investment.
Following his leaving Tribal's employment in June 2006, Jeff acted as a non-executive Chairman of the housing practice (known as the Communities Group) for four months pending a restructuring.
Jeff was, from 2002 to 2003, Research Fellow in Public Private Partnership at Henley Management College. From 2004 to 2006, Jeff undertook research into bidder behaviour in PFI/PPP contracting at the Cranfield Centre for Competition and Regulation Research, part of Cranfield University's School of Management.
